A video showing the moment the wife of the late comic actor Mr Ibu, Stella Maris Okafor, broke down in tears as her husband’s body was transported from Lagos to his hometown in Enugu ahead of the burial has surfaced on social media.
A video of the actor’s sons Valentine and Daniel accompanying the body of their late father which was being wheeled by hospital staff was shared on Instagram on Monday night.
In another video that surfaced, Ibu’s wife was pictured crying while others consoled her as the ambulance drove off.

Mr Ibu whose real name is John Okafor, died at Evercare Hospital in Lagos State on Saturday after a protracted battle with illness.
The 63-year-old battled health issues that led to multiple surgeries and the amputation of his leg.
According to the national president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Emeka Rollas, Ibu’s manager Don Single Nwuzor told him that the actor suffered cardiac arrest before he passed on.
“Mr lbu suffered cardiac arrest according to his manager for 24 years Mr Don Single Nwuzor. I announce with deep sense of grief that Mr Ibu didn’t make it. May his soul rest in peace,”
he said in an Instagram post on Saturday.
Ibu hailed Umunekwu in Nkanu West LGA, Enugu State.
