Famous Nigerian singers Wizkid and Davido have engaged in a war of words, with the former accusing the latter of being a woman beater.
Recall that on Monday, while engaging with fans, Wizkid made a controversial tweet trolling fellow artist Davido and fired a shot at Don Jazzy.
Wizkid expressed himself by saying, “Every day I get things to say, but my mouth no good.” When a fan asked him to release new music, he humorously replied, “Is it by force?
He then asked his fans to beg him for new music, using Davido’s recently viral crying video as an example .”Beg me like this“ he posted alongside the viral video.
Responding to the tweet, Davido wrote: “That’s what i thought. Nothing to say! Exactly why i stopped wasting my clout and jeoparding my millions of USD of endorsement on someone whose career was resurrected a few years ago just to die again. Next!“
Wizkid fired back at Davido, saying,“You and all your crew plus your pant washer songwriter go to sleep at night thinking you got anything on me in music, wish you all well. You know what? no pint. Delusional niggas pray for y’all”
Angered by Wizkid’s statement, Davido called the singer a woman beater whilst urgingng the public to pray for domestic violence victims. “Lets pray for domestic violence victims.A minute silence.”
