Nigerian singer Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy from the former PSquare group, has accused his twin brother, Peter Okoye, known as Mr P, of stealing his unreleased song.
The dispute began when Peter announced a new track entitled ‘Winning ’ on his Instagram account saying it would be on all streaming platforms.
Paul disclosed that he had written and sung a song titled Winning, which was supposed to be produced next year. To his surprise, his twin brother, Peter Okoye, had released the same song by the same producer. The singer said that he submitted 6 songs to the management and questioned why they were re-singing his song word for word.
Paul reacted to this on his Instagram, asserting that he is the rightful owner of the song, Stating that he wrote and performed it with the same producer involved. He questioned how Peter could release another version and mentioned that the song was planned for his 2025 album.
Paul also made it known on his Instagram story that the days of being manipulated are over as he promised to release the original version of any songs of his that was being replicated.
“The days of manipulation are over!!
And to the management, make I hear any song wey na only me sing, I go release the original version.
