Former security guards turned content creators, Matthew Kelechi and Amakor Johnson, popularly known as Happie Boys, have been spotted in Nigeria having a time of their lives after they were reportedly deported to back from Cyprus.
It would be recalled that the young men were sent on scholarship to Cyprus by Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere of Omega Power Ministry (OPM).
The duo, months after they were sent abroad, called out the clergyman for abandoning them in Cyprus, revealing that the Port Harcourt-based preacher discontinued their scholarship.
Reacting to the call out, the Apostle cursed the former security guards, Happie Boys, but eventually forgave the boys after much pleas from the general public.
Opening up on the reason, he paused funding of scholarships, the clergyman in a Facebook post noted that the financial burden became too much for him with over 4,000 individuals on his scholarship programmes.
The clergyman clarified that other beneficiaries were affected and were given the option of continuing their studies at any university in Nigeria or Benin Republic.

The duo, however, refused the offer to return to Nigeria to continue their scholarship in Africa.
It was later rumoured that they were arrested in Cyprus and detained before being deported.
The Happie Boys, who have remained silent over the rumour despite returning to social media on Monday after being away for over three weeks shared a recent video of themselves in an Abuja fun center having a time of their lives.
The video was captioned;
‘Welcome back, Happie boys,’ ‘Happiness is free, more love.’
Some social media users immediately took to the comment section, to welcome the Happie Boys back home.
