Stella Maris Okafor, the wife of ailing comic actor, John Okafor better known as Mr Ibu is reportedly at loggerhead with the actor’s daughter, Jasmine over his donations.
Recall, the actor’s public outcry, led to funds donations from the general public, and the Bukola Saraki Foundation stepped in, offsetting the hospital bills. The foundation in a statement had disclosed that they’d covered the actor’s medical expenses up until 18 October which led the actor’s fas to stop contributing.
However, in a new development, Instagram anonymous blog, Gistlover shared screenshots of an alleged chat from Jasmine’s friend, revealing that they are currently at war over his donation.
“Another Drama brews between Mr Ibus Wife and Jasmine and this time it is about the donations Nigerians donated for Mr Ibu.
“A friend of Jasmine reached out to me earlier today saying Mr Ibu wife wants to take over the donation money to level up her lifestyle as she is always talking about buying iPhone 15 and new cars even before Mr Ibu had his surgery.
“The whole matter is becoming messy, please slide to see the screenshots, she was also acccused of using her account to get 1 million from the donation.

The development have elicited mixed reactions from Nigerians on social media, while some slammed Jasmine Okafor for constantly interfering in his marital issues, others questioned his wife’s intention for her husband.
Omalicha Nenye wrote,
“Mr Ibu’s wife has full right over her husband’s account.”
“Bringing a 3rd party in your home is bad. Jasmine that his wife, whatever she wants to do with the money is her right, and the only people who can intervene are his Sisters/brothers.”
