The Rivers State capital, Port Harcourt, is reeling from the shocking discovery of the brutal murder of 20-year-old Justina Nkang, a 300-level Biochemistry student at the University of Port Harcourt. The police have apprehended Okoligwe Damian, a 400-level student of Petrochemical Engineering at the same university, suspected to be Nkang’s boyfriend.
Justina, who had been reported missing four days prior, was tragically found dead in Damian’s residence. The alarm was raised by an observant neighbor who detected a putrid odor emanating from the suspect’s abode.

Subsequently, the police were notified and swiftly intervened.
Upon breaking into the apartment, law enforcement officials were confronted with a ghastly scene. The dismembered remains of the victim were uncovered concealed within a Ghana-must-go bag.
Commissioner of Police, Nwonyi Emeka, confirmed the arrest of Damian, shedding light on the ongoing investigation.
