Controversial media personality, Daddy Freeze has mocked Ekiti-base cleric, Prophet Adegoke Jeremiah, better known as Billion Dollars Prophet following the lawsuit filed by the Directorate of Citizens Rights (DCR) at the Ekiti State Ministry of Justice.
It would be recalled that DCR filed a lawsuit on behalf of Nigerian chef, Damilola Adeparusi, popularly known as Chef Dammy, against Adegoke, and the Ekiti State Police Command, at the Ekiti State High Court in Ado Ekiti, for rights infringement.
The DCR also asked the court to restrain the prophet and the police from arresting Chef Dammy and that a N10 million compensation be paid for aggravated damages to the chef who rose to the limelight after her failed attempt to break a Guinness World Record.
The lawsuit was filed barely a week after Chef Dammy was reportedly arrested on the order of Adegoke, who was her pastor.
Reacting to the lawsuit, media personality via his Instagram mocked Adegoke saying;
“Oh no not nice, why are they touching the anointed?? And they say it’s Daddy Freeze dividing the flock..”
In another post, Freeze slammed a news outlet for fabricating stories after his post calling out Nigerian pastors over their miracles.
Recall, Daddy Freeze expresses skepticism, after noting that he has never witnessed a Nigerian pastor resurrect a deceased celebrity.
Speaking on Tuesday, the media personality reiterated on his statement of attending any church that can heal ailing comic actor, Mr Ibu.
He wrote;
“Dear Nigerian i have long since blocked legit, ng because of the way they sensationalize news just Pastor Adeboye. I only said i would join the church of any pastor who heals Mr Ibu. This I stand by, thanks I have long since blocked you on Facebook, read this quickly so I can block you here too. I have never blocked a blog or news channel before, but Una own don too much.”
Meanwhile, before Chef Dammy’s arrest, she had cried out asking the general public to hold the cleric responsible if anything happens to her.
She added that she received countless threats, insults and bullying from her pastor, noting she was ready to spill everything, including what Adegoke told her: which is to “prepare for war.”
Adegoke is believed to have been the sponsor of Chef Dammy’s 120-hour cook-a-thon back in June following the wave of Guinness World Record attempts inspired by Hilda Baci.
Adegoke is the head pastor of Spirit Word Global Mission, an Ekiti-based church
