Ekiti State mourns the untimely demise of Rotarian Bola Olu-Ojo, a prominent political figure and former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.
Aside from his role within the PDP, Olu-Ojo was renowned for his dedication to community service as a Rotarian. His commitment to social development and philanthropy earned him widespread respect and admiration, both within and beyond the boundaries of the political arena.
The late Olu-Ojo, aged 64, was also recognized for his significant contributions as the Director-General of the Campaign Organisation of Wale Aribisala, a prominent contender for the PDP Governorship ticket in Ekiti. His strategic leadership and political acumen were instrumental in shaping the trajectory of Aribisala’s campaign.

In a statement released by a family source, it was revealed that Hon. Chief Bola Olu-Ojo breathed his last on the evening of November 1, 2023, passing away peacefully in the embrace of his loved ones. The statement conveyed the family’s belief that he had departed to join the company of saints in the presence of the Almighty.
The statement read:
“With total submission to the Almighty, we announce the passing away of our dear Husband, Brother, Uncle, Father, and Grandfather, Hon. Chief Bola Olu-Ojo, who passed on to be with the Saints in the evening of 1st November 2023,”

“He was a beloved husband, brother, uncle, father, and grandfather.
