Speed Darlington Demands 12 Million Naira As An Apology From Burna Boy

Speed Darlington Okoye ‘Akpi’ as he is fondly called, had released a diss track shading singer Damini Ogulu better known as Burna Boy after he had arrested him for defamation of character. He However regained his freedom and noted that he was not yet done with Burna Boy.

Recall Speed Darlington was arrested and detained for days in Abuja on allegations of cyberstalking Burna Boy, who had filed a petition against him.

Speed Darlington is stated that he would deal with the Grammy Award winning colleague Burna Boy in a way that he would use N12 million to beg him. Apparently, Speed Darlington is still pained that Burna Boy influenced his arrest after he questioned his relationship with American rapper Sean Combs, popularly known as P. Diddy.

In an Instagram Live session, he vowed to take revenge, claiming Burna Boy will soon beg for his account number, vowing to trouble the singer till he pays him 12 million naira for forgiveness.

The Afrobeats sensation Burna Boy had released a series of singles in 2023, including the hit ‘Sittin’ on Top of the World’. A later remix of the song featured 21 Savage and was featured on his seventh studio album, ‘I Told Them’ released in August. The album continued his global dominance, charting throughout Europe where it reached number one on the U.K. charts. In the U.S. the album earned Burna a record setting four Grammy nominations.
