Yoruba movie stars like Iya Ibadan Sneh, Wosila coded, Madam Saje and others are over the moon with sheer delight following the reconciliation of Fuji musician Saheed Osupa and chairman of Lagos parks and garages management committee Musiliu Akinsanya popularly known as MC Oluomo.
The Fuji king had on Tuesday posted a video on his Instagram page to announce the end of his long-time rift with Oluomo.
The 54-year-old in the post shared had called for peace, pointing out that although having new friends is nice, old friends are better.
He wrote,
“Let peace and love lead! New Friends are nice but old friends are better…It has been settled, S’ope Otilo.”
In the follow-up video, Osupa and MC Oluomo took to the stage at an event, as the singer sang out a tune that echoed their reconciliation, much to the delight of the crowd.
Captioning the video, the elated singer said, he relished the good old memories shared with the Lagos parks chairman.
He wrote;
“It was a nostalgic moment today at the office of my darling friend and brother @kingmcoluomo, I joyfully relished the good old memories and felt glad that the machetes have been buried forever.”
Reacting to the video, many of the veteran fuji star’ followers including movie stars in the industry stormed the comment section of the post in excitement to commend the duo for settling their differences.
Yoruba movie star, Madam Saje whose real name is Fausat Balogun reposted the video on her page with the caption,
“Alihamudulilahi Alihamudulilahi Alihamudulilahi baba dada oseeeee.”
Actress Kemi Korede who could not hold back her joy, wrote
“Papi permit to post you and your brother old school pictures sir @kingsaheedosupa @kingmcoluomo.”
Iya Ibadan sneh wrote under the comment section;
“See me smiling like mumu, my wish finally come true 1 love brothers,”
