Veteran Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has gone down memory lane as he expresses appreciation to God for giving him a second life.
The former presidential aspirant via his social media pages on Wednesday remembered the incident that almost took his life, adding he’d vowed to live the rest of his life for God.
He wrote:
“In 2019 I died in a car accident. But God gave me a 2nd life. Not a 2nd chance but a 2nd life.“God told me that my first life was for myself and it was gone. But the 2nd life He gave me, I would live for God, for His word, His glory and live for humanity. I’ll break it down later. Ladies and Gentlemen, have yourselves a beautiful day.”In June 2019 the 45-year-old actor survived an auto crash on his way from Lagos to the country side in the southeastern part of the country.
This is not the first time Yul has recounted his experiences about dying in a car accident.
In November, the actor recounted how he survived surviving the accident.
Yul first shared about the experience in a July 2019 Instagram post.
He wrote,
”Yesterday I miraculously survived this terrible accident. All I can say is ‘thank you, Lord, thank you, Jesus, thank you Jehovah, God is real and God is alive. Thank you, blessed mother, Mary.“I left Lagos yesterday heading to the east, just before I got to Ore doing 100-120km, my car lost control and started veering off to the right. I tried to steer it back on track and the next thing I knew I was upside down tumbling till the car finally ended up in a gutter. YouMiraculously I came out alive with few cuts and bruises. I thank the Almighty God for his mercies, I thank our blessed mother Mary, and to all the Angels sent by God to protect me always, thank you. I also thank all my fans and friends all over the world who always pray for me and wish me well…”He also revealed that he had become a born again Christian after surviving the car accident.
