The disinformation team of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) has released a comprehensive report regarding President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s educational qualifications.
The report, titled Bola Tinubu diploma: No evidence Nigeria’s president forged college record’ has shed light on the allegations of certificate forgery that had been circulating on social media.

The BBC’s investigation comes in the wake of the publication of President Tinubu’s academic records by Chicago State University (CSU), a move that sparked a flurry of controversy and speculation. These allegations of forged certificates were initially ignited by the disclosure of the President’s academic credentials.
This revelation represents the culmination of a legal lawsuit that was initiated back in August by Atiku Abubakar, a prominent figure from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and one of President Tinubu’s key opponents in the February presidential election.
In reply to the inquiries, CSU responded by stating that
“We are confident and always have been in the veracity and integrity of our records regarding Tinubu’s attendance and completion of graduation requirements.”
